Restaurant Manager
Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Directs restaurant operations with responsibility for guest service, brand standards execution, and employee training.
o Achieves controllable profit goals by overseeing labor and food controls and takes corrective action to achieve the desired result.
o Develops hourly employees through company sponsored training programs, individual development plans, and assignments.
o Ensures all equipment and facilities are in compliance with company standards and takes corrective action when required.
o Attracts, hires, and retains the best hourly talent to meet staffing requirements and customer service standards.
o Develops and executes the local store marketing plan to build relationships with civic, business, school, and professional organizations to drive sales and guest counts.
o All other tasks and duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications Required:
o 2
years experience in restaurant management, additional operations and/or leadership experience strongly preferred.
o Associates or Bachelors degree preferred, but an individual with a high school diploma or equivalent and a proven, successful operations background will be considered.
o Strong organization skills with excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
o ServSafe certification preferred.
o Ability to identify and anticipate opportunities and implement corrective action steps.
o Places a value on diversity and shows respect for others.
o Disciplined and flexible with the ability to adjust to changing local market and restaurant conditions while properly balancing work and personal life.
o Solid financial and business acumen.
o Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail.
o Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
o Periodic travel to include occasional overnight travel and airline travel when applicable.
o Licensed to operate an automobile without hours of operations restrictions.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
