Gastroenterology combines high-tech services with highly skilled and compassionate care to prevent, diagnose, and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
Doctors throughout the region refer their most complex cases to our expert gastroenterologists, whose specialties include colon cancer screening, hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease, GERD and inflammatory bowel diseases.
There are two distinct settings within GI, the practices where patients are seen for routine visits and consultations and the procedural suites where colonoscopies, EGDs and other conscious-sedation procedures are performed.

GI SCHEDULE:
Monday- Friday Days ATTRIBUTES Medical Assistant Certification or medical assistant experience preferred Strong customer service, computer, and communication skills Bilingual preferred RESPONSIBILITIES Patient Care & Physician Assistance.
Room patients in a timely fashion, complete patient work-up, obtain vital signs, assist physicians with procedures; manage physician orders and complete appropriate forms/requests; report issues to a licensed staff member when necessary Maintenance.
Ensure treatment rooms are stocked as needed; update and maintain patients' e-record Compliance.
Adhere to required department and system protocols, HIPAA regulations and local, state and federal requirements Compliance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:
$16.
75 - $18.
50The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
