JOB SUMMARY Responsible for structural welding and fabrication in a manufacturing plant environment.
Read prints and fabricate according to specs.
Fabricators need strong mathematical and analytic skills to read blueprints and layout work assignments.
Understanding structural basics including rigging, welding, erection and reinforcements may be critical to some assignments.
Must have experience in pattern drafting and layout, fabrication, welding and installation and repair.
Additional duties include maintaining the shop and equipment used in the assembly process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
Mig, Tig, and Stick welding 2.
Square up and weld various geometries of components.
3.
Understand various weld form symbols on blue prints and understand size of fillet forms.
4.
Weld both vertical and horizontal plane geometry.
5.
Understand various edge preps before welding.
6.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1.
High Diploma or GED 2.
3-5 years' experience either in a construction, manufacturing or job shop environment, certificate preferred, but not required 3.
Strong mechanical abilities/aptitude 4.
Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and communication skills EQUIPIMENT/MACHINERY USED Welding machines PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Lifting up to 50lbs regularly and 75lbs occasionally, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods of time, manual dexterity, visual acuity, and typing.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
