Summary:
Applies principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing to support manufacturing test engineering initiativesJob ResponsibilitiesoResponsible for supporting legacy test stations, both hardware and software that are being utilized in a production environment or at service centers.
Perform root cause analysis on Production failuresoUnder minimal supervision, performs a variety of highly complex technical tasks which require a substantial understanding of engineering techniques and all technical objectivesoWorks on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiativeoPerform as member of a technical team utilizing effective communication skillsoUtilizes automated test or design software.
Highly proficient at data analysis using required software tools.
oIs viewed as a technical resource to others.
oConducts engineering tests and analyzes data to support recommended design changes when applicable.
oWorks from minimal documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts and plans often requiring interpretationoApplies significant electronic theory to configure, model, layout, prototype, build, test, troubleshoot, determine solutions and modify electronic product for engineering efforts applicable to the department or program charter.
May assist engineers with design and development of new processes and/or productsRequired Skill Set :
oHave good communication, documentation, and collaboration/teamworkDesired Skills Set :
oHave domain knowledge of avionics productsoProgramming experience (LabView, C, C#, Test Stand).
Perform electrical and electronics test equipment troubleshooting and repair.
Demonst s good problem solving skills and ability to learn and apply skillsets to different situations.
Must be a team oriented individual and self starter.
Education Qualification :
