Wilson, NC Wilson, NC Full-time Full-time $17 - $20 an hour $17 - $20 an hour 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago TOOL ROOM ASSISTANT Position Summary Responsible for the cleaning, repair, and preventive maintenance of injection molds which are used in the manufacturing process to make plastic caps and closures.
Job Position Responsibilities Perform cleaning, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance on injection molds and mold parts.
Set up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
Changeover mold components in order to produce a different part from the same mold base.
Troubleshoot and problem solve issues with injection molds.
Support and adhere to all system procedures and company policies/procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all safety regulations.
Perform other related duties as needed.
Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Ability to use various machines such as a Cold Jet, lathe, and drill press.
High integrity, good work ethic with self-motivated & positive can-do attitude.
Open-minded & teamwork oriented.
