Position Overview.
The Benefits and Payroll Assistant will assist with the administration of the following functions:
payroll, benefits administration, employee recordkeeping and HRIS support.
This position will directly report to the Payroll and Benefits Manager.
Ideal Candidate.
Our view of the ideal candidate is someone who:
HR experience preferred, but not required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Is extremely detail oriented.
Responsibilities.
The Benefits and Payroll Assistant's core responsibilities will be:
Prepare payroll administration and enters data into system.
Organizes documentation for payroll entries.
Upon receipt, reviews requests for reimbursements, pay changes and special pays to ensure proper supporting information is accurate.
Places all pay documentation into master spreadsheet for Payroll and Benefits Manager to review.
Upon approval, keys data into HRIS system for payroll processing.
Provides support for DVM benefits administration.
Executes benefits administration for DVMs included, but not limited to, company provided resources and CE tracking.
Runs reports for DVMs with outstanding benefits actions and provides follow-up to answer questions and ensure completion.
Maintains documentation for current leave of absence and attendance related programs.
Maintains documentation for FMLA and personal leaves of absence.
Completes requests for follow-up documentation from benefits providers as needed.
Maintains employment records.
Files employee documentation into employee records.
Purges employee files upon separation from employment.
Compliance/employment surveys and audit support.
Assists with data gathering and entry for employment related surveys and audits as assigned.
Collaborate with administrative team.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
